Frequently Asked Questions

THE CHALLENGE

1. What is the January Challenge? A five-week online and in-person yoga program led by DEDICA running January 11 – February 12, 2027 on the DEDICA.LIVE platform at 8 AM (ET) Monday through Friday.

2. Who is this for? Everyone. Absolute beginners, longtime practitioners, teachers, people who haven't been on a mat in years. If you're ready to show up consistently for five weeks, you belong here.

3. How does it work? Classes run Monday through Friday for five weeks. You can join online from anywhere or drop in in-person at Kan Wellness in Tulum. Each week builds on the last, with a new theme to anchor your practice and keep things from feeling repetitive.

4. What if I miss a day? All classes are recorded and uploaded within 24 hours so you can participate at your own pace.

5. What's the difference between online and in-person? Same class, different experience. Online gives you flexibility — join from your living room, your hotel room, wherever you are. In-person gives you the energy of a room, hands-on adjustments, and the community aspect that's hard to replicate on a screen. .

6. Where are the in-person classes held? Classes are hosted at Kan Wellness in Tulum. More location details will be shared upon registration.

7. Will you help me find accommodations? Accommodations are on you to book, which means you get to choose exactly what suits you. We highly recommend staying at Kan Wellness (where the program is hosted) and use promo code "DEDICA27" when booking for the most seamless experience — but if you'd rather be nearby, La Veleta and Holistika are our go-to neighborhoods. One honest tip: skip the beach zone. Gorgeous, yes. Practical for this week? Not really. Any questions, just email hello@bydedica.com.

8. Where should I fly into? Tulum has its own airport — Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport (TQO) — with direct flights from select major cities. Otherwise, Cancún International Airport (CUN) is the most common entry point, with shuttles and rental cars available for the roughly 2-hour drive south. We'll include specific travel recommendations and logistics in your welcome package once you're confirmed.

9. I'm not in Tulum — can I still join? Absolutely. The online format is designed to be just as valuable as in-person. All you need is a mat and a wifi connection.
